Two stunt driving charges laid in one shift by Guelph officer

Police said the officer clocked two vehicles going more than 60 km/h over the speed limit on Guelph streets in just under five hours

Two stunt drivers, one weekend.

A Guelph police officer took a pair of vehicles off the road in the span of five hours.

First, a 21-year-old Toronto man was clocked going 116 km/h in a 50 km/h zone on Stone Road East around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Then at 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning, a 17-year-old Kitchener male was allegedly going 130 km/h in a 60 km/hon Woodlawn Road.

Both drivers had their licences suspended for 30 days, and the vehicles have been impounded for two weeks.
