Guelph police are investigating after the same woman broke into a downtown apartment building three times last week.

Officers were called Friday afternoon to a residential building on Macdonell Street near Wyndham Street North. The owner advised the building had been entered during the early-morning hours of Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

On April 5, just before 3 a.m., a woman is observed on video using a tool to pry open the front door, then attended the laundry room where she pried open the door then forced her way into laundry machines, stealing coins.

Just before 3 a.m. April 7, the same woman returned to the building with a second woman and pried open the door to gain entry. They spent about 10 minutes inside but no theft was reported.

Less than 24 hours later the woman again attended the building and pried open the door, allowing a second woman and a man to enter. The women attended the laundry room but were unable to gain entry.
