Guelph police arrested a Guelph woman for disturbing a Sunday morning church service.

Shortly before 9 a.m., officers were called to a church in the downtown area after a woman interrupted the service by yelling, playing music on her phone and attempting to get undressed. Officers arrived a short time later and found the woman sitting in one of the pews and playing music loudly. As officers tried to speak to her she ignored them and began shouting.

A 41-year-old is charged with disturbing a religious service, failing to comply with a release order and five counts of breaching probation. She was held for a bail hearing.
