The Guelph Police Service is investigating after three would-be shoplifters fled in a stolen motor vehicle Thursday.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. police were dispatched to a business in the area of Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street North. Three males had entered the store and began placing products in bags as they walked around the business. That male stopped by staff is described as Middle Eastern, 20 to 30 years of age, black hair, medium build, grey hoodie and grey sweatpants. All three males fled in an older Honda Accord which had been reported stolen from Peel Region.
