TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH
*************************
WELLINGTON NORTH – In our continued effort to put the health and safety of residents and staff at the forefront, the township of Wellington North has made a decision to close all its recreation facilities effective Thursday, Dec. 23 at 12:01 a.m. through to Monday, Jan. 3, in the hope of slowing the spread of COVID within the community. Prior to the proposed reopening date of Jan. 3, township will re-evaluate this date, informed by current COVID case information. This closure will impact the Arthur and Area Community Centre, Damascus Hall and Mount Forest and District Sports Complex. We acknowledge the impact this has but with COVID cases rising locally, we feel this is the best way to protect the community. Staff will work on issuing a full refund to anyone impacted and will initiate contact as soon as possible.

The township of Wellington North will continue to follow and implement all requirements of the Province of Ontario, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health and encourages residents to take all precautions to protect themselves, their families and friends. Council and staff wish everyone happy holidays.
