COUNTY OF WELLINGTON - The county of Wellington is asking employers to complete a survey in order to help understand the needs of local employers.

On Tuesday, the county tweeted a call out for local employers to complete Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin's employer one survey:

Each year, the annual employer one survey conducted by Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin allows businesses to share important information about hiring challenges and specific workforce needs. The survey is designed to collect information on a range of topics and trends such as projected vacancies, hiring intentions, recruitment strategies and challenges, perception on candidate skills, education and training.

The information collected from the survey is shared with other 30 partner organizations including job developers, educators, economic developers, industry associations and business support agencies so that a better understanding of the local labour markets can be developed and better strategies are produced to improve overall workforce and employer needs.

As such, the more people participates in the survey, the more accurate and complete the data becomes.
