ERIN - Residents loved the local Erin business contest so much that it’s back for a second year.

As a way to help local businesses once again during the pandemic, county councillor Jeff Duncan funded and organized the Love Local Erin contest.

“It’s just one small fun way we can assist our local Town of Erin area entrepreneurs over this winter COVID-19 hump,” said Duncan.

Essentially, Duncan will pick three winners and ask them to select a local business in Erin. He will buy three respective gift cards from the businesses the winners chose from.

The first prize gift card is worth $100, the second prize gift card is worth $75, and the third prize is worth $25.

To enter, participants just need to email Duncan at [email protected] with Love Local Erin in the subject line by the end of Valentine’s Day.

Three names will be selected at random on Feb. 15. A condition when entering the contest, however, is that winners names will be made public and one entry will be made per email address.
