North Bay's 'America's Got Talent' duo eliminated, but top five ain't bad at all

An incredible journey for the pair continuing in the top five

Sara and hero eliminated from the show. 

As the crowd chants "Hero, Hero" Sara tells the audience, "I'm just extremely blessed. I made it to the top five, that's all anybody could ask for. I'm just so happy."

As part of the final show, a segment was aired of Sara training the judge's dogs. (see the video below)

Update 9:35 p.m.

A great run continues for local dog trainer Sara Carson and her dog Hero. They are still in it midway through tonight's edition of America's Got Talent.

Five of the top 10 were eliminated in the first cut and Sara made the cut.

It's been an incredible story for the pair and an enormous achievement.

It's the 12th season of 'America's Got Talent' and host Tyra Banks said at the start of the show that Tuesday's final vote total was the highest in the history of AGT at 62 million.

Top prize is $1 million and a headline act in a Las Vegas show.
