Adopt Me: Avocado is looking for a patient owner

She would prefer a calm home with one or more friendly kitties

GuelphToday, in partnership with Purrfect Companions of Norfolk and My Kitty Cafe, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Birthdate: August 30, 2020

This little calico is absolutely gorgeous! She has been very shy initially at MKC, as she is used to living in a quiet foster home with only her foster mom and other kitties for company.

She’s now joining in when it’s playtime with the other cats and visitors. Once she’s comfortable with you, Avocado enjoys attention and will come up for pets.

She prefers to have all four feet on the ground at this stage, but over time in a patient home I think she may eventually be a lap cat.

This kitty was rescued from an outdoor colony with her siblings at about three months of age, and two of them have been adopted.

Avocado needs a patient adopter who is willing to give this sweet girl the time needed to adjust in a new environment. She is best suited to a calm home with one or more friendly cats who will help her to feel more secure.

Please contact the Kitty Cafe at (226) 979-5775 or visit their website for more information about adopting Avocado.
