Caramel

Hi, I’m Caramel! Just like my name, I’m a sweet little bun. I’m a curious guy who sometimes needs a little encouragement to be comfortable, and once I am, my personality really shines.

I love to go on adventures and explore my surroundings, it’s a great way to let my energy out. I’m told I would be a great match with other pets and kids, they could go exploring with me too!

I also have an independent side, and the perfect home would be a place with lots of free roam time to explore, and then have my own space where I can relax on my own when I need it. I really enjoy playing with my enrichment toys, like chew toys, hidey-holds, fun tunnels…..we could play together, too!

One of my favourite things is food, I LOVE my snacks! Leafy spinach, celery, cucumbers…I’m hungry just thinking about them. Treats are a guaranteed way to get my attention, I’ll even jump right in your lap for them.

Right now my foster dad is even using treats to help me learn new tricks, like standing on my hind legs. I’m really enjoying learning new things, and can’t wait to show off for you!

The GHS contactless adoptions have been so successful – they have given over 700 pets a loving #HappyTail during COVID-19! Virtual and/or phone adoption meetings will happen by appointment only.

If you think Caramel would be a good match for your home, check out the GHS contactless adoption process at guelphhumane.ca. Not able to adopt? Consider donating toward the care of GHS animals at guelphhumane.ca/get-involved/donate.
