Houdini
Meet Houdini. This darling boy is so sweet and friendly! He is a two-year-old shepherd mix who came into the care of the Guelph Humane Society back in August. Houdini can’t wait to meet his new family and get settled into a wonderful home.
Houdini is such a lovable guy. He does take a little while to warm up to people, however once he does, he will be your most loyal pal and stick by your side.
Houdini has showed some resource guarding in his time here at the shelter, meaning he can be a little protective of his food and toys. He just doesn't appreciate when people take away his things, but who does.
Houdini loves people and has such great potential! He does require an owner who is committed and willing to continue positive training for his resource guarding behaviours.
Houdini is an active dog who loves play time and going for long walks. He would likely do well in a detached home with a fenced yard and with no small animals and no children under 16 years old.
