Luna
Meet our beautiful girl Luna! Luna is a sweet girl who displays all the traits that people love about huskies, she likes to show off her vocal talents and "sing" at the shelter, so a detached home would be best for this girl as neighbours likely won't be a fan of her howling.
She loves to go on walks but has a tendency to wander (and not listen when called, another husky trait) so she should always be on a leash, and a fenced in backyard wouldn't hurt either.
Luna came in as a stray so not a lot is known about her history, however, she's incredibly smart and already knows some basic commands. She knows vocal commands like "sit" and "down", and likely knows a lot more!
She appears friendly with other dogs and from her behaviour at the shelter she seems familiar with cats, however, we would recommend that her new owner(s) watch her very carefully with any feline friends as sometimes she seems to be a bit too interested in them.
She can be a little nervous in the shelter and is unsure of being touched (touch-sensitive), but we're sure with a patient owner she'll come out of her shell.
Luna would thrive in a quiet home, or a home with children 10+ who know how to treat a dog gently and respectfully. Please consider beautiful Luna, she's a girl with a ton of love to give!
