GuelphToday, in partnership with the Guelph Humane Society, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.
Meet sweet little Patty Cake!
Patty came to the shelter in March after she was found stuck inside the walls at a construction site! Poor Patty was dehydrated and had a bout of the kitty cold but she turned around quickly with proper care, good food and love!
Patty is such a sweet little girl who has a lot of energy! She LOVES to interact with her foster cat friends and can play for hours!
Patty had a mass of tissue in her mouth removed in April and has fully recovered - the results of the mass indicated she had stomatitis. Stomatitis is inflammation of the mouth and may cause her discomfort during the duration of her life depending on the severity of her case as time goes on.
She is quite young and isn't seeming to be in any pain or discomfort at this point, but she will require regular veterinary monitoring of her mouth and will be more susceptible to needing dental care in her future.
If you can give Patty the loving home she's looking for then come see this cutie today!
