Sargent

Meet Sargent! This handsome boy has been in GHS’ care since September…he can’t wait to meet his new family and get settled into a loving home.

Sargent is a one-year-old, male, Coonhound/mix. He is an active and playful pup who loves to go for long walks and show you his tricks. He also loves to snuggle, and definitely believes he is a lap dog, despite his large size.

Sargent is an affectionate guy and loves his people, but is a little wary of strangers at first. He will require an experienced dog owner who is familiar with reading the body language of dogs and will be his advocate when strangers try to approach him.

Sargent’s new owners must also be willing to sign up for a one-on-one behavior consultation and training.

Due to his previous history, Sargent would do best in a home with no cats and no children under the age of 15.

Sargent is eager to find his new home, where he can love and grow with his new family. For more information on Sargent contact GHS at 519-824-3091 or visit guelphhumane.ca.

Interested in this very special boy? Come meet him today! Sargent is waiting for you at the Guelph Humane Society, located at 500 Wellington Street West Guelph. Visit Sargent during our adoption viewing hours, no appointment necessary.
