UNITED WAY GUELPH WELLINGTON DUFFERIN

Cargill Canada, committed $50,000 in support of United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin’s COVID-19 Community Response Fund, to assist with COVID-19 community relief efforts across the community. This marks the largest single corporate donation to the local fund to date.
In response to the crisis, United Way is collaborating with community partners, including the Guelph Community Foundation, to overcome the challenges the pandemic is causing. Funds will be distributed to support local agencies assist the most vulnerable populations, including seniors, those living in poverty, women and children.
“Cargill is working with our non-profit and NGO partners around the globe to help address food insecurity and emergency medical needs for those who are vulnerable during this pandemic and to provide immediate support to the communities in which our employees live and work. In Guelph, we are pleased to support United Way’s efforts to address the immediate needs of the community,” commented Steve Devine and Matt Gibney, general managers of Cargill Guelph.
