Cases confirmed at two Guelph high schools

Local school boards currently have a combined 19 active cases in 14 different schools, the majority of them in Wellington County

According to the reporting portal, cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Centennial CVI and St. James high schools.

Centennial has two cases and St. James has one case. No classes were closed at St. James and the closure of a class or classes at Centennial is to be determined, says Public Health.

The Upper Grand District School Board currently has 16 confirmed cases in 11 different schools. Four of the cases are at Guelph schools, the rest are in the county.

The Wellington Catholic District School Board has single cases at three schools, one in Guelph, one in Arthur and one in Fergus.

The University of Guelph has two active cases, both at its Ridgetown Campus near Chatham.
