Fergus COVID testing site now open seven days per week

FERGUS – The Fergus COVID assessment centre is now open for testing seven days a week. 

The Wellington Health Care Alliance announced on Wednesday morning that the testing site at the former Groves Hospital on Union Street in Fergus will offer COVID testing every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Testing is still by appointment only online or by calling 226-383-2415. 

Other options for testing in Wellington County include the Harriston Train Station at 83 Arthur St. West on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Two Saturday sites are also available at the Minto Rural Health Centre in Palmerston and Clair Stewart Medical Centre in Mount Forest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
