(UPDATE): 19 new cases in Guelph Friday, four in Wellington County

Currently 15 active cases in schools resulting in 10 class closures

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health reports 19 new confirmed cases in Guelph on Friday morning, plus four more in Wellington County.

In the two local school boards there are a total of 15 active cases – 13 in the Upper Grand District School Board and two in the Wellington Catholic District School Board – resulting in the closure of 10 classes. No schools are closed.

There are no confirmed active cases on the University of Guelph campus.

WDG Public Health vaccination program: completed vaccines - 6,394; total doses administered - 15,546; percentage of goal - 2.5 per cent.
