UPDATE: Spike in Guelph COVID cases continues, six more confirmed Thursday

Now 24 active cases in Guelph and 23 new confirmed cases since last Thursday

The spike in local COVID cases continued Thursday as Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health reported six new cases.

It was the sixth consecutive reporting day that new cases have been confirmed in Guelph. There hasn't been a day with no new cases since Sept. 9.

There were six Thursday, one Wednesday, three Tuesday, five Monday (includes weekend), six Friday and two last Thursday.

Thursday's new cases bring the total number of active cases in Guelph to 24.

There were no new cases reported Thursday in Wellington County.
