GuelphToday has received the following letter to the editor from Guelph resident and regular transit user Bryan Graydon.

I am lucky that I catch the #9 Waterloo to work. I do not need to catch a connection from downtown. If you need to catch the #8 downtown, first you need to leave your house half hour earlier than need be; then wait a half hour for the next bus. The #8 shows just as the connector is leaving.

Sunday bus service has prevented me from accepting multiple jobs that require Sundays – 9 a.m.-7 p.m. in a town of 130,000 people is ridiculous. I held a Facebook querying on this. I was shocked how many people had to cab to or from work on Sundays and holidays.

Our transit system needs to cater to the blue collar worker. Not students who leave here and take a profession in another county.

Remember the working man!
