GuelphToday received the following letter to the editor from reader Anne MacKay thanking local artists who opened their doors to the public.
After a cool, rainy couple of days, I have to tip my hat to the artists who opened their studios for this year’s Guelph Studio Tour.
It is such a delight to revel in the work of favourite artists and learn how their practice has been evolving – and a chance to discover artists new to me and learn about their take on the world. I always end the days stunned by your skills and your innovation!
What a true privilege to wander into such amazing spaces.
Thank you for moving around all your supplies and easels to allow us in. Thank you for patiently answering questions and even encouraging us all to explore our own creativity.
Guelph is truly lucky to have such a special gathering.
Thank you for all your hard work!
