Unprecedented, turbulent, challenging, lonely…all those words – and so many more – describe 2020 for most of us. It has been the year that kept us apart; but now, more than ever, we need our community to come together. December is a giving time of year; yet this year, many of us may not have as much to give.
For those looking to give back in a meaningful way, let me remind you of a priceless gift you have to give: the gift of life. Each year, the holiday period comes with a downturn in the number of blood donations received; yet, it is a priceless gift we all have to give.
So, this year, when many of us may not have much to give, I encourage you to consider giving the gift of life by donating blood.
