- Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
- Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo
- Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County
Very strong winds are expected today.
Hazard:
Very strong wind gusts near 90 km/h. Localized gusts in excess of 100 km/h are possible.
Widespread power outages may occur.
Timing:
This morning and afternoon.
Discussion:
Strong southwest winds will develop this morning or early this afternoon ahead of a cold front moving through southern Ontario. Isolated thunderstorms are possible along this cold front, which may bring localized wind gusts in excess of 100 km/h. Winds will gradually ease this evening.
Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds.
