The Guelph Public Library is holdings its annual How-To Expert Festival on Saturday, March 24.

The public has the opportunity to learn something new in just 10 minutes at the free event, which features 14 different skills.

The drop-in event runs at the Main Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year’s lineup is:

  • How to use essential oils

  • How to line a fishing rod and tie fishing knots

  • How to get kids cooking

  • How to build a terrarium

  • How to solve engineering puzzles

  • How to make an accordion book

  • How to buy and sell your house

  • How to do bicycle maintenance

  • How to play chess

  • How to do a woodworking project

  • How to virtual reality

  • How to organize all that paperwork

  • How to do tai-chi
