TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH – On May 11, 2021 the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a sexual assault at a Wellington North Township address.
The accused and victim were known to each other.
As a result, a 43-year-old resident of Wellington North Township has been charged with:
- Sexual assault contrary to the Criminal Code; and
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph at a later date.
