HIV/AIDS Resources and Community Health (ARCH) is excited to be celebrate 10 years of giving and living with A Taste for Life.

On Wednesday, April 25, 2018 all community members are invited to dine at one of the participating restaurants.

All A Taste for Life restaurants will generously contribute 25 per cent of the gross proceeds directly towards ARCH.

“This event provides the opportunity to combine a passion for delicious food and supporting community just by enjoying a meal with friends and family,” says Tom Hammond, executive director at ARCH.

The impact of these contributions helps to connect people to care and go directly to supporting individuals and families living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. In 2017, 800 people dined at 17 local restaurants and helped to raise $20,000 for ARCH.

Since its inception, A Taste for Life has raised well over $100,000 in total to support programs and services. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of A Taste for Life, ARCH hopes to continue and grow on this success.

Community members can participate by making a reservation at one of the fabulous A Taste for Life restaurants and extending the invitation to family and friends to join the fun. Just for participating, individuals are entered to win prizes which include a $500 Via Rail voucher and a gift basket filled with local treats will be raffled off at each restaurant.

This year there are several restaurants in Guelph and Wellington County who are supporting this event. A Taste for Life restaurants showcase a variety of culinary styles, locations and prices ranges to suit everyone’s needs.

For a full list of restaurants in Guelph, Elora, Fergus and Mount Forest please visit our A Taste For Life event page. There is also the option to enjoy lunch, dinner or both!
