Canadian alternative rock duo USS has announced a Guelph date for their upcoming Bonavista Tour.

The Toronto-based duo will play the Guelph Concert Theatre on Nov. 2, after playing dates in Toronto, Kitchener and London, Ont.

USS, which stands for Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker, consists of Ash Buchholz and Jason Parsons mixing drum and bass beats with guitar and electronic instrumentation.

The band’s single Work Shoes from their 2016 album New World Alphabet peaked at No. 2 on the Canadian rock/alternative chart, and the single This is the Best from 2014’s Advance Basics peaked at No. 3 on the same chart.

The Elwins, a Keswick, Ont.-based indie rock band, will open the shows for the USS tour.

The show has been announced on the USS web site, but tickets are not yet available to purchase from Ticketmaster.

Last year, the duo played an August show on the Riverfest Elora main stage, as well as a January 2017 show at the Guelph Concert Theatre.
