Another arrest made in commercial B & E investigation

Stolen bikes, tools, camera equipment among the items recovered in ongoing investigation

A Guelph woman has been arrested in an ongoing investigation into a string of commercial break and enters.

Guelph police arrested a 25-year-old man earlier this month after executing a search warrant at an address on Willow Road. He is facing a long list of charges related to 10 commercial break-ins between Nov. 6 and March 10. He remains in custody with a bail hearing scheduled for Thursday.

The ongoing investigation led officers to an address near Paisley Road and Sleeman Avenue on Tuesday where police executed another search warrant.

More than $5,000 in stolen property including bicycles, tools, camera equipment, identity documents and a licence plate were seized.

A 45-year-old Guelph woman is charged with possessing stolen property over $5,000, possessing stolen property under $5,000, possessing identity documents and breaching a conditional sentence order. She has been released on bail to appear in a Guelph court April 5.
