The Arab Women's Society of Guelph organized a wonderful celebration for Eid Al Fitr and Mother's Day on Sunday (May 8th) at Lake Guelph sports Fields.

About 100 women and more than 110 children of different ages attended this wonderful celebration.

We were surrounded by an atmosphere of love, happiness and joy together.

Eid gifts were distributed to all the children and they were very happy with all the different activities and games that were there.

There was a participation from an Arab artist working in the Canadian Arab Orchestra, and we enjoyed her beautiful voice.

At the same time, donations were collected in different clothes for all ages (women, men, children) for the purpose of delivering them to the Salvation Army of Guelph.

And after the necessary quantity of clothes was collected, and the day coincided May 18 it was delivered to the centre.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the donors and to Mrs. Sarah, Director of Purchases in the AWSOG , for her efforts in collecting clothes and helping to deliver them. We also extend our sincere thanks to Kazem Halal store in Guelph and Oma Fresh Foods in Guelph for their participation in part of such a beautiful event.

The Arab Women's Society of Guelph wishes everyone joy, love and happiness.
