According to the Guelph and District Association of Realtors, a new home sales record for the month of March was reached, making it the highest level for any month in history.
A total of 727 units were sold, an increase of 77.3 per cent from the March previous.
The dollar value of all home sales in March 2021 was $619.8 million, more than double the levels from a year previous.
In March 2021:
- 727 residential units were sold
- $852,524 was the average price of homes sold
- 863 new residential listings were posted
To compare, in March 2020:
- 165 residential units were sold
- $542,563 was the average price of homes sold
- 509 new residential listings were posted
In February 2021:
- 485 residential units were sold
- $853,359 was the average price of homes sold
- 620 new residential listings were posted
To compare, in February 2020:
- 323 residential units were sold
- $636,605 was the average price of homes sold
- 398 new residential listings were posted
