Catch it before it's gone (20 photos)

Sweet November snow, here and soon gone.

An evening of snow flurries left a temporary dusting of the white stuff on city streets Wednesday night. Many motorists were likely wishing they had snow tires. It was slippery.

Snow in November is certainly not unusual in the Guelph area, which can be something of a snow-belt at this time of year. But November snow often doesn’t stick around.

The fairly minor storm continued into the wee hours of the morning, but by sunrise it was already starting to disappear. With a high of 5C forecast for Thursday, and rain and a high of 11C on Friday, that frosty blanket doesn’t have a chance.
