NEWS RELEASE
GUELPH PUBLIC LIBRARY
*************************
Every year on March 8, International Women’s Day is celebrated by women throughout the world to recognize their amazing achievements and acknowledge the challenges women continue to face.

This year, the Guelph Public Library is hosting an after-hours event full of female empowerment and inspiration for you to make a difference in the world. All ages and genders are welcome to join us at the Main Library (100 Norfolk Street) on Friday, March 8, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Listen to the stories of extraordinary females and femmes of Guelph including Elizabeth Cherevaty (Two Rivers), Holly Mastrogiacomo (Smitten Apparel), Nancy Murray and keynote motivational speaker, Anne MacKay (Anne MacKay Consulting for Non-Profits). Meet and mingle with like-minded individuals, explore community booths and learn from other women’s experiences while enjoying light refreshments. Together, let’s celebrate the wonderful achievements of women!
