The John McCrae Branch 234 Guelph of the Royal Canadian Legion is celebrating its 90th anniversary.
To commemorate the milestone the legion will be hosting an event on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 11 a.m.
After the celebration, Guelph Pipe Band will be hosting the Scottish Festival. The pipe band is also celebrating a milestone, its 100th anniversary.
The event is free to attend, donations are welcome. Noon will be the official opening of the event and at 1 p.m. the Scottish Festival begins.
There will be a barbecue, cash only bar, pipe bands and military displays.
