Child driving car was being filmed by adult during collision: Guelph Police

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the occupants and vehicle that fled

Guelph Police say a young child in command of a moving vehicle that collided with another in a parking lot was being filmed by an adult in the car.

On Sept. 18, 2018 at approximately 7:50 p.m., a silver four-door Nissan struck a parked car in the parking lot of the Skate Park at the corner of Wellington Street and Edinburgh Road. 

The Nissan was being operated by a young child estimated to be eight to 10 years old, with an adult male in the front passenger seat and an adult female videotaping the scene. 

Guelph Police describe the three individuals involved as being 'black in colour.'

After the crash, one of the adults took the wheel and the Nissan fled the scene travelling eastbound on Wellington Street.
