The City of Guelph has temporarily closed the pool at the West End Community Centre for unplanned maintenance due to a mechanical failure.

The closure is expected to last approximately one week.

During the closure, there will be no drop-in swims at the centre, the city says. As an alternative, residents can check out the drop-in swims at Victoria Road Recreation Centre at recenroll.ca.

The city also says the swim lessons at the West End Community Centre will be extended by one week, with the last week of classes happening from June 18 to 24.
