The spirit of creativity and collaboration will come alive Thursday evening during the Co-Create 2021 Project Launch.
On Thursday, June 24 at 7 p.m., residents can tune into the free online event to see a showcase of projects done between two artists in two different creative fields.
The aim of Co-Create is to help artists continue to create during the pandemic while building strong connections with other artists in the industry.
Back in May, artists were paired together based on their art, interests and goals during residency. Throughout the experience, each pair was given guidance and access to recording, video and art-making resources to help them produce their creative works.
Organized by Otherwise Studios and Bumaroo, the program is for emerging and established artists, musicians and all types of creatives.
After presenting their projects, artists will talk about their experiences in residency, collaborating together for their project and their individual processes.
