Demonstration against changes to autism services scheduled for Friday evening at Guelph City Hall

Market Square will be host to people protesting changes to the way autism services are delivered and paid for in Ontario during a demonstartion scheduled for Friday evening.

Organizers of the event, titled 'Leave No Child Left Behind', will gather in front of Guelph City Hall at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

'Come show the Ford Government that we will not back down and that we will fight together for everyone autistic. That we stand in unity against these changes and that no child is left behind,' said a description on the event's Facebook page.

A public address system will be available for families to tell their stories during the demonstration.

Organizers are asking people to bring an electric candle to signify unity and support. Children are welcome at the event.
