Driver suffers serious injuries in ATV crash near Mount Forest

On Dec. 3, 2022, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving a single motor vehicle on Sideroad 2 East, east of Mount Forest. Initial reports indicated that an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) had been involved in a single-vehicle collision and that the operator had suffered serious injuries.

Emergency services attended the scene. The lone occupant, a 33-year-old resident of Wellington North Township, was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries by air ambulance.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation. Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have information related to this collision to call 1-888-310-1122.
