If you or your loved ones are on the roads tonight, note that Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for our area.

Travel could be hazardous with "near zero" visibility in some locations, the weather agency says.

Fog advisory issued for:
   Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
   Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
   Halton Hills - Milton
   Burlington - Oakville

Current details:
Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring over some areas.

Areas of dense fog have developed, particularly over areas of higher terrain.

Visibility is expected to improve overnight or early Friday morning.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.

If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
