GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON - On February 8, 2016 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a serious collision involving two motor vehicles on Wellington Road 125 south of Wellington Road 50, Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Officers responded along with Guelph-Wellington Emergency Services (EMS), Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department and Wellington County Roads.
One driver was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other driver was not injured.
The names will not be released until next of kin have been notified.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by the Wellington County OPP and the West Region OPP Highway Safety Division.
Wellington Road 125 remains closed between Wellington Road 50 and Halton-Erin Townline.
