Firefighters are on the scene of a house fire Tuesday afternoon at 39 Dovercliffe Rd.
The fire was reported about 1:19 p.m. on Tuesday at the corner of Dovercliffe and College Ave. W.
College was closed off to vehicle traffic by Guelph police until about 1:35 p.m. as firefighters battled the blaze.
Extensive damage was observed to the rear of the building on both the main and second floors.
