Blowing snow advisory in effect for:
    •    Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County

Strong west winds gusting to 70 km/h combined with lake effect flurries will create areas of blowing snow giving reduced visibilities.

Snowfall accumulations are expected to be fairly limited, as the most significant accumulations are likely closer to the Great Lakes. However, visibility in blowing snow may occasionally be reduced to a few hundred metres, particularly in exposed areas.

The blowing snow is expected to diminish tonight.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility.

Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least three hours.
