Last year's event drew big crowds. Rob O'Flanagan/GuelphToday.

The food trucks will be back in Exhibition Park on Sunday for the second annual Downtown Food Truck Picnic, and this time they've got some company.

A beer garden featuring local and craft beer will also be part of this year's event, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There will be 10 food trucks taking part: Street Food, Dobro Jesti, Schmuck Truck, Cafe du Monde Creperie Food Truck, Sweet Temptations Cupcakery, Breakfast Blues & BBQs, Fo' Cheezy Food Truck, El Luchador Mexican Fusion, Mango Chutney and Chefscottycooks.

Vendors on hand include Cleo The Clown and Her Painting Pals, Cupanion, Play With Clay and the Guelph Water Wagon will also be there.

The event is in support of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Guelph.

The event goes rain or shine and people are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and a blanket.

Some food trucks will take debit or credit cards but cash is preferred.

There were some complaints last year about long lineups and some trucks running out of food, but organizers said they have tried to address those issues for this year, including having more trucks on hand.

Admission is free.
