Freezing rain warning in effect for:

Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo
Mount Forest - Arthur - Northern Wellington County

Ice build-up due to freezing rain is expected or occurring.

Freezing rain beginning early this evening.

Rain will turn over to freezing rain by early this evening. An extended period of freezing rain, possibly mixed with ice pellets, appears likely before precipitation comes to an end on Sunday morning.

Ice accretion of 10 to 20 mm is possible in many areas by Sunday morning.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.
