GUELPH FIRE DEPARTMENT

On Jan. 4, 2018 at 4:11 p.m. the Guelph Fire Department responded to a reported fire at 137 Elmira Road North. Units from Headquarters, 2 Station, 4 Station and 5 Station arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from the garage.
The fire was quickly brought under control and subsequently extinguished. .
There were no major injuries but one of the tenants did inhale some smoke. The tenant was subsequently treated and release on scene by paramedics, all personnel were evacuated.
The cause of the fire along with an estimate of damage is still under investigation.
