After a successful first year, the Rotary Club of Guelph Trillium is continuing their rain barrel fundraiser for 2022.
"We were shocked," Jack Tacoma with the Rotary Club told GuelphToday, after selling 120 barrels to residents last year.
"So we thought 'okay, we got something here,' and decided to try again and see how it goes. And we added composters."
The goal is to surpass the 120 barrels they sold last year.
Barrels start at $60, and you can pre-order from now until 5 p.m. on May 16 online.
Orders will be available for pickup during an event at Original Home Furniture at 259 Woodlawn Rd. W. on Wednesday, May 18, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tacoma said they're the size of a regular barrel, and can fit in the back seat of a car.
There is a delivery option starting at $10 for anyone with a Guelph address. Deliveries will be made in the hours and days following the in-person pickup event.
