A portion of Gordon Street from Water Street to Simpson Street will be closed starting on Monday. Construction is expected to last two weeks.
Local access will be permitted. Speed bumps have been installed on Water Street in preparation for the road closure.
Traffic will be detoured to Wellington Street West, Edinburgh Road South and College Avenue West.
Pedestrian access will be available on sidewalks of the closed streets.
Businesses will remain open.
The construction area will try to not impede on private driveways or property from working hours 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Transit routes 1, 2 and 99 will be detoured during construction.
