Event was part of Black History Month and a fundraiser for the Guelph Black Heritage Society

Roughly 350 people turned out Saturday night as Guelph celebrated the music of the legendary Aretha Franklin.

Some of Guelph's finest musicians and singers took part in Respect - A Guelph Tribute to Aretha Franklin.

Presented by the Black Heritage Society and part of Black History Month, the concert was also a fundraiser for Heritage Hall as they continue to raise money to build an accessible ramp and washroom at their Guelph location.
