Guelph city hall is going green, but it has nothing to do with the environment or climate change.
City hall will be among nearly 100 landmarks in Canada that will light up green for National Injury Prevention Day.
It's a day to bring awareness to the importance of injury prevention.
Parachute Canada, the national charity that has spearheaded the initiative for 10 years, said injury is the leading cause of unintentional death among Canadians under 35.
The city will also be set up in St. George's Square to discuss road safety.
Cambridge is also taking part, by lighting up both the Grand River Pedestrian Bridge and the 3D Cambridge sign at city hall.
