The 2021 Guelph Dance Festival programming begins today! Presented from June 2 - June 6 through an entirely online format, this year's festival will feature an incredible lineup of local and international artists. Join us as we stream live and pre-recorded performances followed by live talkbacks with the artists (see full festival lineup for details).
Festival Lineup includes:
June 2: 7-7:30 p.m. The Welcome Gesture-Guelph, Dreamwalker Dance Company; 8-9 p.m. Artist Meet & Greet, hosted by Catrina von Radecki.
June 3: 7-8 p.m. The Returned, Portal Dance; 9-9:30 p.m. Arcade Continuous, Not Applicable Productions.
June 4: 7-8 p.m. sketches/studies for unsettling, Georgia Simms; ANNA, Laboration Art Company.
June 5: 9:30-10:30 a.m. African Contemporary Dance Workshop with Pulga Muchochoma; 7-8 p.m. In the Virtual Park series - Imprint: Guelph, Meredith Thompson, Love Not War, The Kween Company, Portraiture, Drew Berry, ANNA, the Emerging Artists Intensive participants; 9:30-11 p.m. Short&Sweet curated by Katie Ewald featuring 15 artists from across Canada.
June 6: 10-11:15 a.m. Embodied Experiential Awareness Workshop with Meryem Alaoui; Festival Closing hosted by Dreamwalker Dance Company.
